About me

My name is Rebecca and I am passionate about supporting people to navigate the ebb and flow life brings. I am a fully qualified and insured Integrative Counsellor experienced in working with adults and young people who are neurodiverse.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I can work with a range of therapeutic approaches to create a tailored experience of counselling for each individual. Every person I work with is different and what works for one person may not be the best approach for the next person. Working as an Integrative Counsellor means I can adapt to every person I have the opportunity to support. I am also a fully qualified Meditation Practitioner and believe meditation can work beautifully within counselling sessions. I believe that counselling does not always have to be the traditional approach of sitting opposite each other and talking. For example, you may wish for our sessions to include the opportunity to work creatively, include meditation or using the benefits of nature.

I offer a variety of counselling styles to suit you as an individual including Person Centred Therapy, CBT, eco/nature-based techniques and creative therapies. I offer sessions in person and online.

If you feel I could be the right Counsellor for you to work with, I would love to speak with you further so we can see how we can work together. Please email me to arrange your free 20-minute consultation. I understand how challenging it can feel to ask for support and I am grateful to be a part of the journey each of my client’s take.

Thank you for reading my profile and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
