About me
I am a CPCAB qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure why certain thoughts, feelings, or patterns keep showing up in your life. At times, it can be difficult to make sense of what’s going on, especially when things start to feel too much.
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly and begin to understand these experiences more clearly. Our work together is not just about coping, but about gaining insight into what may be sitting beneath the surface.
I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, stress, low mood, and relationship difficulties, and I tailor the work to you as an individual.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a CPCAB Level 4 qualified counsellor, and my work is grounded in a psychodynamic integrative approach, with a focus on understanding underlying emotional processes and patterns over time. I work in a thoughtful and reflective way, allowing space for deeper exploration rather than approaching difficulties at a surface level.
I am an MBACP registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and am currently undertaking advanced Level 5 training in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. Throughout my practice, I have engaged in regular clinical supervision to support safe, ethical, and reflective work with clients.
My experience includes working with adolescents aged 12–16 within a school setting, where I worked in a client-centred way. With younger clients, I adapted the work by integrating creative approaches, including elements of art alongside talking therapy, to support expression and engagement. I have also worked with adults presenting with trauma-related difficulties and more complex psychological patterns.
I have experience working both face-to-face and remotely, including online and telephone sessions. I currently practise within an intercultural psychodynamic organisation, Nafsiyat, offering therapy in English, French, and Arabic. In addition, I work independently with Care to Listen, providing therapeutic support in Arabic for clients who wish to engage in therapy in their mother tongue.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I offer a limited number of concession spaces, which can be discussed on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability.
Further information
I offer online therapy sessions via Microsoft Teams, with sessions typically held on a weekly basis. I provide both time-limited and open-ended therapy, depending on your needs and what feels appropriate for the work. Communication outside of sessions is managed via email. I offer an initial introductory call, either by phone or video, to give us the opportunity to meet, discuss what brings you to therapy, and consider whether we are the right fit to work together. If we decide to proceed, we will agree the framework for the work and complete the necessary documentation prior to starting. This process, along with any practical details such as fees and payment by bank transfer, will be discussed during the initial call, where you are also welcome to ask any questions. I currently work with clients based in the UK.
