About me

Confidential and Supportive Counselling in a Safe Space

I offer a confidential, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your personal issues, thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviours freely and safely.

My counselling service is open to anyone seeking a way to cope more effectively with life’s challenges. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, burnouts or other personal concerns, I provide both short- and long-term therapy tailored to your individual needs.

I understand that starting counselling can feel daunting, especially when opening up to someone new. Please know that you are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. I aim to create a warm, respectful, and professional environment where you can begin to make sense of what has brought you here and feel supported throughout the process.

There is no “quick fix” or magic solution in therapy, but together we will work as a team placing you and your needs at the heart of our sessions. With my experience, empathy, and commitment, I aim to help you develop deeper understanding, build resilience, and move towards the changes you want to see in your life.

The goal of my work is to help you find practical and emotional ways to manage difficulties more effectively and confidently so you can navigate life’s challenges with greater balance, clarity, and self-awareness.

For more information about my practice, please visit my website or contact me directly to arrange an initial consultation.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
