About me
Hi, I'm Raj.
You are the expert in your story and I will come with you as you take me along on your journey.
I am a person-centred therapist that offers a non-judgemental, empathetic and calm environment in which you can speak freely about what's going on for you.
My focus is working with all types of relationship issues and all of the issues that may arise with relationship difficulties such as, finding your true self, finding your values, working with your self-esteem and self-worth, and exploring communication difficulties. I look at attachment types and find ways to help you to get through to the other party(s) involved.
I wholeheartedly believe that together we can equip you with the tools you need to solve your problems as I guide and support you.
I work in a person-centred way which means that I focus on your unique perspective and experiences of the world in the here and now.
Throughout our time together I will provide you with a safe space where you will discover what you need to move forward and be where you want to be.
My core values are listening, reassuring, helping you to reflect on thoughts and feelings, and being patient. My professional relationship with you as a client is to help you feel comfortable in the environment.
Whilst I do not claim to have all the answers, I aim to gain the understanding from your perspective.
I am available online via Teams, and I am also available via phone call. Please book an intro-call to gain further information.
I look forward to speaking with you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
