About me
Hi, I’m Rachel. I offer therapy for overthinkers, deep feelers, and people who are tired of living in their heads.
If your mind never seems to switch off - replaying conversations, questioning decisions, or spiralling into worst-case scenarios - you’re not alone. I work with people who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts and are looking for more calm and clarity in their day-to-day life.
How counselling can help
I offer a space where you don’t have to filter yourself, pretend to have it all together, or figure it all out alone. Together, we’ll slow things down and get curious about what’s really going on underneath all that mental noise. You’ll learn how to untangle overthinking, soothe your nervous system, and reconnect with what actually matters to you.
How I work
I work integratively, drawing on different therapeutic models to suit you. That might mean talking things through, exploring how the past is showing up in the present, or using breathwork and somatic tools to help you reconnect with your body - not just your thoughts - so you can feel more grounded and whole.
Next steps
I offer online, and in-person counselling (in Christchurch, Dorset). Feel free to email me with any questions, or book a free 20-minute intro call where we can get to know each other and you can ask any questions you might have. You can do this by emailing me or using the 'book introductory call' button.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
