About me
As a therapist that now works from home on a full time basis, I am available most hours Tuesday to Friday during the day and evening. I am happy to be flexible and work with yourselves to agree times and days that are suitable as I understand that lives can be busy so I try to be aware of this and work in a way that hopefully suits you as much as possible.
I have been working in mental health for over 10 years now and prior to being freelance, I was a Manager within the creative arts sector so my aim is to combine this experience to offer holistic and calming approaches to my clients so that you feel safe and supported. My main aim is to make sure that I listen and give time to enable clients to unravel what is troubling them and to work towards a positive outcome together.
I am a professional psychotherapist that delivers an integrated approach to therapy via a person centred practice. This means that my client comes first and I combine this with my knowledge of meditation, relaxation, mindfulness and Reiki enabling my sessions to be therapeutic in a mental and physical way.
I have experience in working with past trauma, grief, anxiety and depression, whether this is linked to physical or mental health and I work with clients face to face, online and by telephone. I am able to support Addiction, Neurodiversity, Self harm, Suicidal Ideation, Trauma and related anxiety issues.
I also offer support for clients on a single basis and couples therapy. I work with age 18 plus.
Atlas Therapy, the name of my practice is based at my home, where I can offer two relaxing spaces for therapy. One is a lounge area that is warm and inviting and the other is an outdoor cabin that can be used for counselling and also has space for Reiki and relaxation.
Both spaces are used in a way to make sure that my clients feel listened to, alongside my aim to build a good and trusting relationship in order to discover a positive working space.
My first session is to get to know you and make sure you feel comfortable. Its an opportunity also for yourself to get to know me. We will spend time discussing what you may need from therapy and also loosely plan ways to offer the right support. There will be some administration to complete such as a contract and personal details as required.
All sessions are confidential and clients are treated with respect and care.
I am happy to discuss potential sessions with clients for free prior to agreeing support if required. Please feel free to call me or text, and if I am busy please leave your details and I will return your call as soon as I can or email me. Thank you.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
