About me
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but you don't have to do it alone. I'm here to offer support, understanding, and a space where you can be yourself.
We live in a world where we're more connected than ever. Our phones, social media, and constant access to others mean we're rarely out of touch. Yet many people tell me they feel lonelier than ever, unheard, unseen, or unsure where they can speak openly without fear of judgement. Sometimes we're surrounded by noise but rarely given the opportunity to truly be listened to.
As a person-centred counsellor, I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, in a way that feels right for you. My role isn't to tell you what to do or offer quick solutions, but to walk alongside you with empathy, honesty, and genuine understanding.
I believe that when we feel truly heard and accepted, often for the first time in a long while, meaningful change can begin. Given the right environment, we all have the capacity to better understand ourselves, reconnect with what matters to us, and find a way forward.
I work with adults experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loss, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply unsure of how you feel, counselling can provide a space to make sense of what's going on for you.
I also have experience supporting young people aged 15–18. In a world where many young people feel increasing pressure to fit in, perform, and seek approval from others, having a safe and accepting space to talk openly can be incredibly valuable.
I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I offer both online and in-person sessions. If you'd like to ask any questions or get a sense of how it might feel to work together, you're very welcome to get in touch to arrange a free 15-minute introductory chat.
Training, qualifications & experience
I established my private practice over a year ago, where I provide therapeutic support to adults and young people. Alongside my private practice, I continue to work with a local charity, supporting young people with a range of emotional and psychological needs.
Working across both private practice and the voluntary sector has enabled me to develop a broad and diverse range of skills. Supporting clients from different backgrounds and with varied presenting issues has strengthened my ability to adapt my approach to meet each individual's unique needs.
My experience has further reinforced my belief that, when offered the right therapeutic environment, a person-centred approach empowers individuals to achieve meaningful, lasting, and sustainable change.
I hold the SEG Awards ABC Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Concepts and the SEG Awards Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills. I graduated in 2025 with the SEG Awards Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
I believe that openness and honesty are the minimum anyone should expect from a counsellor. I aim to offer a genuine, transparent, and respectful therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to be yourself and to speak openly about your experiences.
My practice provides a calm, confidential, and supportive space where you can explore whatever is important to you. I understand that seeking counselling can feel like a significant step, and I work at a pace that feels right for you.
As a person-centred therapist, I work with you as an individual rather than focusing on labels or assumptions. Sessions are client-led and shaped around your needs, with empathy, acceptance, and non-judgement at the heart of the work.
I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges, including bereavement and loss, anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. I recognise that everyone’s experience is unique, and I offer a space where these difficulties can be explored safely and at your own pace.
I also have extensive experience supporting young people aged 13–18. I am mindful of the unique challenges young people may face and aim to provide a safe, age-appropriate space where they feel heard and understood.
I welcome people from all backgrounds and identities and will work alongside you to support greater self-understanding, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

I understand that choosing to invest in therapy is an important and sometimes big decision, so I aim to keep the financial side as clear and straightforward as possible. My fee is £55 per 50-minute session.
At the moment, I don’t work with insurance providers. This allows me to offer a more flexible and personalised approach, without limitations on the number or length of sessions, so we can focus on what feels right for you.
