About me

Hi, I am Rachael. I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Hypnotherapist who offers lower-cost counselling that is tailored to your individual needs and life experiences both in-person and online. I believe that therapy should be accessible for all, no matter of your personal or financial circumstances.

Low self-esteem, stress and traumatic life events can impact us in ways that are not always obvious. Gaining a deeper understanding of how your past experiences and relationships may be shaping your present life can help build self-compassion and facilitate positive change.

I have experience working with a diverse client base and a variety of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss. I am also currently working with a charity supporting individuals impacted by domestic abuse.

By drawing on a range of therapeutic perspectives, including psychodynamic theory, trauma-informed practice and cognitive behavioural techniques, we can create a therapeutic plan that fits your personal aims and goals.

Within a comfortable, safe, supportive and non-judgemental space, you are free to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.on-judgemental space, you are free to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

I understand how important it is to find a counsellor who feels right for you. If you are unsure whether I may be a good fit, I welcome you to get in touch for a free, informal conversation so you can decide if I am the right fit for you.
