About me
I am a Person-Centred Counsellor offering a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing when given the right environment and therapeutic relationship.
My approach is deeply empathic and gentle, allowing clients to explore their experiences at their own pace and in a way that feels safe for them. I specialise in grief and bereavement counselling, supporting individuals through loss, life transitions, and the complex emotions that can accompany them.
Alongside my work with grief, I have experience supporting clients affected by trauma, sexual abuse, depression, and anxiety. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, and I am committed to providing a confidential and supportive space where you can begin to make sense of your experiences and move towards greater wellbeing.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling from the University of Chichester and am a registered member (MBACP) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
My counselling experience has centred on supporting adults through a wide range of difficult and often deeply personal experiences, including trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have also worked with clients who have been affected by domestic and sexual abuse, offering a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space in which they can begin to explore and make sense of their experiences. More recently, much of my work has involved sitting alongside clients through bereavement and grief in its many forms, supporting them as they navigate loss, change, and the complex emotions that can come with it.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This is for a single session.
I offer a limited number of concessionary spaces for students and clients on a low income or experiencing financial hardship. Please feel welcome to ask about this if cost may be a barrier to accessing counselling.
