About me
We come to therapy because we want to make changes , to heal , to be heard , understood or maybe to understand , to strengthen and to grow .
I offer Online Counselling /Psychotherapy , Face to Face in Person and Walk and Talk Counselling / Therapy in-person during a distanced countryside walk or sitting within a quiet private setting.
Are you feeling at a crossroads in your life ?
Do you need a safe place to explore how to move forwards?
A time where you can be exactly how you need to be – a safe equal space between client and therapist where we can explore together the things that are troubling you and what you’d like to change about your life.
I am BACP registered and trained in the integrated model of therapy, this type of therapy takes account of the whole person; emotional, physical and mental.
I have many years of experience as a therapist and have worked in a wide range of settings, with many different issues. I help clients to make sense of what they are finding difficult and find new ways forward.
I work with each client at their pace, listening sensitively to what needs to be heard and understood, what needs to heal and made well.
I feel passionate about helping my clients to flourish and grow enabling them to feel better about themselves.
All sessions are private and confidential. I will not share any information from or about you, except in exceptional circumstances (i.e. in the unlikely circumstances you or someone else is at risk of serious harm). I discuss my work, on a strictly anonymous basis, with my supervisor to ensure I am providing the best service possible.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
