About me
Welcome, I'm glad you've found your way here.
Reaching out for therapy isn't always easy, and you may be here because something in your life currently feels difficult, overwhelming, or simply isn't working in the way you'd like. Whatever brings you here, therapy offers a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and we can begin to make sense of your experiences.
Often, the ways we have learned to cope or protect ourselves have helped us get through difficult times, but those same patterns can sometimes leave us feeling stuck and disconnected from ourselves and others. By exploring earlier experiences together in a safe, confidential, and supportive space, we will be able to better understand how past events may still be contributing to your current situation.
My aim is to offer a thoughtful, collaborative relationship where you feel accepted and supported as we work towards meaningful and lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified, BACP- and BCA-registered adult psychodynamic psychotherapist. I offer short‑term (12 weeks) and open-ended therapy, both face to face and online, guided by the BACP Ethical Framework.
I have experience supporting people with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, cultural identity, sexuality, relationship difficulties, belonging, trauma, bereavement, complicated grief, discrimination, challenging life transitions and women’s issues. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, nationalities, beliefs, genders and sexual orientations.
As a therapist, I work with curiosity, openness and compassion, aiming to help strengthen your sense of self while supporting you to find your own way forward. I believe that each of us has a unique story that deserves to be heard, with the time, attention, and space it needs.
I provide therapy in English and Czech.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
