About me
I strongly believe people have the strength and power within themselves to accomplish the things they want and make the personal changes themselves, though they may just need a springboard or someone to hear them out. My approach is to put you at the centre of your therapy, tailor my support to your needs and put control back in your hands. I'm a qualified, BACP registered, Person-Centred counsellor with elements of Integrative and Relational approaches.
I can support ranging from: Anxiety, Depression, Grief/Bereavement, Parenthood Struggles, Trauma, Relationship Issues, Addictions, Suicidal Ideations and more. I welcome and give a safe space for Suicidal Ideations - though I am NOT a crisis specialist.
My aim for becoming a counsellor was to help people through their mental and emotional struggles as well as be someone alongside them in their journey of personal growth and offer support that does not align with common medicalised approaches (i.e. "YOU are the problem and you need fixing").
I offer online sessions across the UK and in-person sessions in Newport - Gwent.
My aim as your counsellor is to work together with you to build an environment that feels safe enough and gives you the opportunity to talk about things that you may not be able to with others. I will be alongside you as you tkae control of how you use counselling to harness your personal growth. We will review our work together regularly to ensure you are getting what you need from our time together.

I can support client with a range of topics, though I am more specialised in Parenthood Struggles and Bereveament.
Level 5 MBACP Counsellor. Prior to becoming a counsellor, I have worked in educational teaching, probation settings and support lines. Whilst training as a counsellor I volunteered at: Network Counselling & Training (Bristol) and Sesame Counselling (Newport).
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
