About me
I would like to welcome you to my profile page and thank you for taking the time to read it.
I am a qualified counsellor and clinical counselling supervisor, with many years of experience providing one to one counselling support for men, women, couples, young people and children. I have established a successful private counselling practice in Southeast London, and West London respectively, that promotes personal development that subsequently leads to emotional wellbeing. The type of counselling support I pride myself on offering has been greatly shaped and influenced by my experiences, providing therapeutic support within four public and private services. These services include mental health, domestic violence, weight management and education. Each service has essentially helped me to develop my practice so I am able to meet and support the differing psychological and emotional needs of each of my clients today.
What I offer
Counselling is a wonderful life-changing process that, can provide you with the very support and empowerment you need to create new pathways towards self-discovery and emotional recovery. It is an intimate yet personal process that encourages the exploration and discovery of new and wonderful aspects of yourself yet to be discovered. Counselling provides a fantastic opportunity for you to develop a new and healthier relationship with the authentic you because the most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself.
I offer a range of counselling support that I can specifically adapt to meet your emotional needs. I have a very accepting, warm approach to counselling that enables me to create a safe environment conducive for personal growth, internal transformation and emotional healing. My style of counselling allows me to work with you in the moment. I offer a confidential service free of judgement and preconceptions where you are encouraged and empowered to find your voice and openly express your truth.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Weight management counselling
I provided group counselling support in the weight management industry for 5 years before I decided to begin my own private weight and lifestyle management counselling service. My service offers support that enables both men and women experiencing obesity and weight management problems to carefully work on exploring and uncovering emotional barriers and underlying feelings that cause them to have an unbalanced relationship with themselves and also with food.
I offer therapy that encourages you to broaden your understanding and raise self-awareness about why you use food to relieve emotional discomfort and also to fill emotional voids. I will help you to explore the psychological triggers that automatically drive you to eat unhealthily, whilst supporting you on your pathway towards rebalancing aspects of your life, which will help you to establish a healthy relationship with yourself and subsequently with food.
I provide both group and one to one session’s in Ealing and East Dulwich. My service aims to empower your ability to develop positive lifestyle changes that lead to a positive emotional and physical transformation and a happier, healthier fulfilling life.
