About me

I would firstly like to welcome you to my profile page and secondly, thank you for taking the time to stop and read it.

I sense the fact you are now exploring the possibility of therapy via the counselling directory is maybe a sign that you are experiencing a difficult emotional period in your life at present. Perhaps there are problems in your life that leave you feeling rather overwhelmed and you are unable to find the solution to resolve them. Could it be that you are possibly frustrated with the direction your life is presently taking and this has perhaps led you to become your own harshest judge and critic? Whatever your personal problems are, I am here to offer you a warm supportive confidential, non-judgemental service that empowers and promotes internal and external transformation, and positive mental and physical wellbeing.

I am a qualified counsellor, weight management therapist, domestic violence counsellor and clinical counselling supervisor. I have many years of experience providing one to one and group counselling support for adults, young people and children. As well as establishing a successful private practice in Ealing Broadway, East Dulwich and St Albans, my previous experiences have seen me provide therapeutic support across four public services, such as mental health, domestic violence, weight management and education. Each one of these services has essentially helped me to develop my practice and define the way in which I effectively meet and support the psychological and emotional needs of each of my clients today.

What I offer

Counselling is a wonderful life-changing process that, can provide you with the very support you need to create new pathways towards self-discovery and emotional recovery. It is an intimate yet personal journey that can open up possibilities of discovering new and wonderful aspects of yourself yet to be discovered. Therapy provides a fantastic opportunity for you to connect and develop a relationship with the authentic you because the most important relationship you will ever have in this life is with yourself. When you are able to achieve self-acceptance and internal happiness in your relationship with you, will you then reflect that happiness into your external world affecting all those around you.

I provide a wide range of counselling interventions that I can adapt to meet your emotional needs. I have a very accepting, warm, relaxed approach to counselling that enables me to create a safe environment conducive for personal growth and emotional healing. My service is sensitive to your very needs, which allows me to work solely at your pace, and at your pace alone. I will only ever encourage you to explore difficult feelings and emotions when you are ready to do so and not before. I offer a confidential service free of judgement and preconceptions where you are encouraged to share your story and empowered to openly express your truth.

Further information

Weight management counselling

I provided group counselling support in the weight management industry for 5 years before I decided to begin my own private weight and lifestyle management counselling service. My service offers support that enables both men and women experiencing obesity and weight management problems to carefully work on exploring and uncovering emotional barriers and underlying feelings that cause them to have an unbalanced relationship with themselves and also with food.

I offer therapy that encourages you to broaden your understanding and raise self-awareness about why you use food to relieve emotional discomfort and also to fill emotional voids. I will help you to explore the psychological triggers that automatically drive you to eat unhealthily, whilst supporting you on your pathway towards rebalancing aspects of your life, which will help you to establish a healthy relationship with yourself and subsequently with food.

I provide both group and one to one session’s in Ealing and East Dulwich. My service aims to empower your ability to develop positive lifestyle changes that lead to a positive emotional and physical transformation and a happier, healthier fulfilling life.
