About me
Hi and welcome.
So many people I meet struggle with a deep need to belong, and an equally deep sense of not knowing what to do.
It can feel like being pulled in two directions — an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. When that happens, our minds often shut down. We feel anxious, flat, or simply stuck.
Somewhere along the way, we learned that it’s not okay to not know. But what if the way forward begins with gently allowing that truth?
Together, we can step out of the rain and rest under the shelter of “I don’t know.” From that safe space, your natural clarity and strength can begin to return.
My approach follows a compassionate, structured process:
1. Understanding how you got here — exploring how your mind has tried its best to help, even when it’s gone off course. This is done with kindness, not judgment.
2. Gently changing what no longer serves you — working with the thoughts, beliefs, or patterns that keep you stuck. I draw on humanistic and integrative methods that help you discover how cooperative your mind can be when met with compassion.
3. Building resilience and trust in yourself — so that lasting change feels natural, not forced. You’ll gain a lifelong sense of how your mind and emotions really work.
I don’t pretend to have all the answers — but I do know how to create a space where answers begin to appear naturally.
If this feels like the kind of support you’re looking for, I’d be glad to begin that journey with you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
