About me
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to make sense of things in your life. Perhaps anxiety, stress, or difficult experiences are starting to affect your relationships, work, or sense of wellbeing.
Many people reach a point where they feel they can’t keep carrying things alone. Counselling offers a safe, confidential space where you can slow down, talk openly, and begin to understand what’s really going on for you.
As a person-centred counsellor, I offer a calm, supportive and non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
How I Can Help?
People come to counselling for many reasons. I often work with individuals who are experiencing:
- Anxiety or constant overthinking
- Feeling stuck or lacking direction in life
- Stress and burnout
- Low self-esteem or loss of confidence
- Relationship difficulties
- Difficult life transitions or personal struggles
You may not have a clear label for what you're feeling — that's completely okay. Counselling can help you untangle things and find clarity.
My Approach
My approach is person-centred, which means the focus is on you, your experiences, and what matters most in your life.
Rather than telling you what you should do, I aim to help you understand yourself more deeply so you can find your own way forward.
In our sessions I offer:
- empathy
- acceptance
- a space free from judgement
- time to explore things openly
Often, when people feel truly heard and understood, new perspectives and possibilities begin to emerge.
What Sessions Are Like
Sessions are relaxed and conversational. You can talk about whatever feels important to you — whether that’s current challenges, past experiences, relationships, or feelings you’ve been carrying for a long time.
There is no pressure to talk about anything before you're ready. We move at your pace.
Many clients say they value having a space where they can speak openly without fear of judgement.
Taking the First Step
Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve never done it before.
If you're considering therapy and would like to see whether we might work well together, you're very welcome to get in touch. We can arrange an initial session where you can ask questions and decide if counselling feels right for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
If you would like to get in touch, we can arrange a free initial consultation 20 minute consultation. During this session, we can explore what brings you to counselling and what you hope to gain from it. You can also use this opportunity to decide if this is the best option for you.
It is difficult to know the number of sessions you may need or how long you may want to continue. The pace of the counselling will be in your hands and, together, we can regularly review your progress and your thoughts about the work.
