About me
Whether you are having difficulties at work, have anxiety or depression, feeling sad, had a major life event, have experienced a loss, or just need to make sense of your current situation, I can offer you a warm, confidential and welcoming space to look at the issues you need to bring and support you to work out your thoughts and feelings.
Counselling and psychotherapy offer somewhere to be yourself outside of your regular life, to connect to what is going on for you emotionally. My role is to build a relationship where you can fully be accepted, feel safe, explore your feelings and be heard.
As a qualified integrative psychotherapist and counsellor I offer long and short term therapy and use many methods and processes to work with you to look at what you want to look at - the work is led by your needs but with my support.
From depression, anxiety or stress in our everyday lives; through loss, grief, abusive relationships, sexual abuse, addictions or to confusion on which direction we want our lives to take. We want and desire a clearer understanding for us and our lives. That starts by coming to counselling with me; by recognising and enquiring about your feelings and responses we begin to change the way you process everyday situations in your life.
Whether you are going through a rough patch, coping with major long-term issues or need to speak with someone about a problem; as a skilled, highly trained professional psychotherapist and counsellor I am here to support you by listening, guiding and helping you transform your approach to life. We can help change the way you react and respond to issues with a more positive, focused outlook.
I am a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Psychotherapist (registration number: AS15203), a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a member of British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth). I meet regularly with a clinical supervisor to review my work.
I offer a free telephone consultation to see if I'm right for you and to see how we can work together.
Please feel free to ask me anything you are unsure of, I will hopefully be able to answer any questions you may have.
