Pamela Collins MA, MBACP (Accred), Post Grad Cert Supervision
I am an experienced, accredited counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotheray (BACP).
I believe that choosing a therapist who is right for you individually can be very difficult and I do not believe in clients simply coming to me to cure them. Rather I feel counselling is a collaborative process where I can help clients develop the skills and strategies they need to equip them for life's stresses, traumas and ever changing circumstance, as well as providing an independent ear to listen without passing judgement. This approach I believe helps people live and enjoy a much happier and fulfilling life-style.
I have experience in a wide range of issues and have worked in a wide range of settings, including the NHS both long term secondary care and GP practice, with a nationally affiliated mental health charity and private practice.
