About me

Hello there! Thanks for checking out my profile. I understand that it can be a confusing process finding the most suitable treatment and therapist. Here is a little about me to help with that process. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like an introductory phone call.

I’m a fully qualified High Intensity CBT Therapist with over nine years of experience working within the mental health sector. My background consists of working with children, young people and adults in various settings - schools, centres and homes.

I believe therapy should feel like a safe, collaborative space where you are met with compassion, curiosity, and respect. My approach is centred around building a trust relationship where we can work together to explore thoughts, emotions and behaviours that are impacting your wellbeing.

Working with children and young people shaped my understanding of emotional development and the importance of how our experiences and relationships can impact the view of ourselves, others and the world.

I specialise in supporting:

  • Children and young people
  • Adults
  • Neurodiverse individuals
  • Parents
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Depression
  • PTSD

Training, qualifications & experience

Following my goal of working with children and young people, I began my career by completing an Early Childhood Studies BA from University of Chester. After this, my passion developed to support children therapeutically, so I completed my Msc in Therapeutic Play from University of South Wales.

More recently I have achieved a PG Dip in High Intensity CBT Therapy (CBT).

I am now an accredited High Intensity CBT Therapist.
