About me
Hello, I’m Olivia, an experienced integrative counsellor currently accepting new clients. I work from a client-centred perspective, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to support individuals in developing self-awareness and growing from their experiences. My practice is primarily informed by Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), alongside training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills.
I am committed to providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and supported. My aim is to help you explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, gaining a deeper understanding of your experiences and the factors that may be contributing to how you feel. Together, we can identify helpful ways of coping, using a range of therapeutic tools tailored to your individual needs. We will also regularly review your goals to ensure therapy remains aligned with what you would like to achieve.
You may have been considering counselling for some time, or perhaps this is your first step. It is completely natural to feel uncertain or apprehensive. Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, but it also offers a valuable opportunity for reflection, growth, and change. Counselling can be helpful if you are feeling overwhelmed, at a crossroads, or simply looking to better understand yourself and maintain your wellbeing. It can also be a proactive way to build resilience and develop effective coping strategies for the future.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

Experience
I am a therapist with over nine years' experience supporting children, young people and young adults, across a range of settings. My background includes long term work within CAMHS, as well as roles in charitable and community services, including school-based counselling, addiction services and domestic abuse support. I am experienced in working with developmental change and the ways early patterns can continue into adult life.
For the past four years, I have also worked in private practice. I value thoughtful, collaborative therapy and bring a trauma-informed, compassionate approach to my work.
I have two years’ experience delivering low-intensity CBT supervision to supervisees, supporting them to develop their clinical skills and confidence in line with evidence-based practice. I provide structured, reflective supervision that promotes professional growth, safe clinical decision-making, and high-quality patient care.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
