About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist offering compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adults and young people. I work with people who may look as though they are coping on the outside, while privately feeling anxious, overwhelmed, low in mood or unsure how to move forward. I also support people affected by trauma, relationship difficulties, family stress and major life transitions.
My style is warm, collaborative and thoughtful. I aim to create a space where you can feel understood, while also helping you make sense of the patterns that may be keeping difficulties going. Therapy with me is not about being told what to do. It is about working together to understand what has happened, what matters to you and what might help you move forward.
I draw on a range of psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), trauma-focused therapy, systemic thinking and attachment-informed approaches. This means therapy can be tailored to you, rather than feeling like a one-size-fits-all model.
I offer online therapy and in-person sessions from consulting rooms in Central London, with evening appointments available.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist, trained to doctoral level, with over eight years’ experience in mental health. Over the past eight years, I have had the opportunity to work across a range of NHS and specialist mental health services, including adult mental health services, child and adolescent mental health services, learning disability services and specialist trauma services.
I have experience supporting people with anxiety, low mood, trauma and PTSD, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, health anxiety and the impact of difficult childhood or life experiences. I have also worked with people who are outwardly functioning well but privately feel overwhelmed, disconnected or unsure how to move forward.
As a Clinical Psychologist, I am trained to develop a psychological understanding of a person’s difficulties in context. This means thinking together about the whole picture, including relationships, identity, family history, culture, life events, strengths, coping strategies and the systems around a person. I use formulation to help us develop a shared understanding of what is happening and what may be most useful in therapy.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative and grounded in psychological theory and evidence-based practice.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Further information
I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you are used to coping alone or minimising your own needs. You do not need to have everything worked out before getting in touch. We can begin by thinking together about what has brought you to therapy now and what you would like to be different.
I offer a reflective, non-judgemental space, while also being active and practical where this is helpful. Some people come to therapy wanting to process past experiences, while others want help with current stress, relationships, parenting or feeling more like themselves again.
