About me

So often our difficulties make us feel stuck, bound in place. We can feel caught in a loop and not know how to get free. We might even know what to do, but either can't seem to do it or it won't work. And sometimes we don't even know what is making us feel stuck and where to start.

Problems with our health, mood, traumatic experiences, changes to our life circumstances like work or living arrangement, relationships, habits- any of these can make us feel stuck.

Through therapy, we can unbind ourselves. We explore and make sense of our problems, gain insight into their origin and inner working and begin consciously changing things. I use an integrative and pragmatic approach, where I pull from different therapeutic modalities (CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic, Narrative, Existential) to help you achieve your current goals.

Although the method of therapy is important and helpful, the alliance you and your therapist create is one of the key contributors to a beneficial outcome for you. I will work constantly to make sure you feel we are on the same page, that we have an agreed plan and strategy, that you can trust me, and that I genuinely care about you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Master's degree in Medical (Health) Psychology (graduated 2017). I have studied and trained in multiple forms of therapy, which I integrate and blend to tailor the therapy experience to my clients.

I've worked with over 500 clients for over 7000 hours across public healthcare systems and private practice. I've worked with people struggling with illness and injury, such as cancer and car accidents, their families and caregivers, and community members looking for personal growth. I specialise in working with people struggling with their mood, relationships, and feeling stuck in life for various reasons- both internal and external/circumstantial.
