About me

I offer room based therapy in Enfield, a safe, confidential and supportive environment where you can explore your concerns at your own pace and I can offer short or long term therapy to suit your needs.

Many people experience difficult emotions at some time in their life which are often resolved without help. However sometimes you may need additional support and therapy is an opportunity to have a safe place to talk about your life and explore issues that may be difficult or confusing for you. Counselling and therapy can be a way to investigate and work through difficult feelings, consider different perspectives and discover helpful strategies and inner resources. It can also help increase your self confidence and help you understand unhelpful relationship patterns in your life.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange to meet please give me a call. If we both feel therapy may be helpful for you we can agree to meet for regular sessions.

I am located in Enfield Town (walking distance from Enfield Town or Enfield Chase stations) with paid for and free parking available.

Training, qualifications & experience

I run an independent therapy practice in Enfield, North London, offering individual counselling. I work with The Painted Horse organisation, offering Equine Assisted Psychotherapy to groups and individuals around the UK. I have a MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, a Clinical Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and Psychotherapeutic Counselling and adhere to the BACP ethical guidelines for good practice. I am a Certified Transactional Analyst (Psychotherapy) with EATA.
I am also a registered member of BACP and UKCP.

I am also a TA supervisor and trainer - PTSTA(P)

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.
