About me
Hi, I’m Nik. I'm a CBT therapist working with adults and adolescents struggling with their mental health.
If you or your child are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, low mood or depression, trauma, or difficulty managing emotions, you’re not alone - and support is available. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to explore your experiences and learn practical strategies to feel more in control.
Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I can help people make sense of their thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and work together with them to build healthier coping tools. Whether it’s anxiety related to general worries, social judgements, work/education pressures, low self-esteem, or the impact of past experiences, therapy can be a place to explore and find new tools to manage.
I'm passionate about supporting others with their mental health and use an approach that is warm, personalised, neuro-inclusive, collaborative, non-judgemental and goal focussed.
If you’d like to find out more or see if we’re a good fit then please feel free to get in touch - I’m happy to talk further and answer any questions!
Training, qualifications & experience
- PG Diploma Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - King's College London (2018)

I am an accredited CBT therapist with over 16 years working in mental health services including 9 years in both primary and secondary NHS care (with both adults and children).
I have worked in an NHS CAMHS service for over 6 years including being part of a specialist trauma service, both delivering and supervising CBT. Some of the common presentations I have worked with include depression, social anxiety, OCD, PTSD, phobias, general anxiety, panic and emotion regulation difficulties. I have worked alongside many adults/young people who are autistic and/or ADHD and aim to ensure appropriate adaptations are considered to make the therapy person-centred and meaningful.
I also have additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills.

BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
