About me
I am a qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor with an experienced background in supporting with anxiety, depression, abuse, stress, bereavement and family issues working with adults and young people. Providing a safe, confidential, warm and non judgemental space, I can help you to understand your feelings and move forwards. I offer a 20-30 minute free of charge telephone consultation.
Looking for support can be quite daunting and you may feel apprehensive about sharing your feelings however, I would encourage you to get in touch and see if I could be the right counsellor for you. I believe the relationship between us is fundamental to supporting you in your journey.
In addition to my wider client work, I also support neurodiverse individuals, offering a flexible and understanding therapeutic space that respects different ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world. I adapt my approach to suit each person’s communication style, pace, and needs, working collaboratively to ensure therapy feels accessible and supportive. I aim to provide an environment where you feel understood, not judged, and able to explore things in a way that works for you.
I am a qualified Humanistic Integrative counsellor and an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am warm, approachable and relaxed with a sense of humour. I offer a safe space to work with you confidentially always putting your needs first. I can help you to manage life's stresses and find your strengths providing a safe space for you to explore and understand your emotions.
Sessions
I offer online video and telephone sessions in addition to talking in person.
I also offer a 20-30 minute telephone initial assessment which is free of charge where we can discuss what you would like to bring to counselling and we can assess whether it would be beneficial to work together. Once you contact me, either by email or telephone, we will agree a date and time that is suitable for you.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
