About me

I’m an Integrative Counsellor based in Ivybridge, Devon, supporting adults who may be experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, workplace stress, burnout, or the emotional impact of challenging situations at work and in their personal lives.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in HR, giving me many years of experience of working with people, workplace dynamics, stress, conflict and wellbeing. This background gives me a particular understanding of how our working environment can affect our emotional health, relationships and sense of self. I bring this practical understanding together with my counselling experience to offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood.

You may be overthinking everything, feeling anxious or overwhelmed, struggling to switch off from work, feeling emotionally exhausted or burnt out, experiencing difficulties within a relationship, or finding yourself affected by a situation that has left you unsure of what to do next. Sometimes there may not be one obvious reason for how you are feeling, you may simply have a sense that something needs to change.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw from different therapeutic approaches and techniques rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we can explore what is happening for you and find an approach that feels appropriate and helpful. I believe that you are the expert in your own experience, and my role is to walk alongside you rather than tell you what you should do.

There is no pressure to have everything figured out before you come to counselling. We can take things at a pace that feels manageable for you, creating space to explore difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences safely.

I offer one-to-one counselling sessions in person and online.

If something in your life feels difficult right now, you don't have to work through it alone.

If you are considering counselling but aren't sure whether I am the right therapist for you, you are welcome to book a free introductory session. We can talk briefly about what is happening for you and whether working together feels right.
