About me
I am Nicki, the counsellor at Room for Hope. I offer remote online therapy via Teams, WhatsApp and email.
I offer a trauma-informed approach to support you and I have experience in supporting those who have experienced trauma through domestic abuse, sexual abuse and assault, childhood sexual abuse, modern slavery, trafficking and exploitation. I support you to understand and develop self-awareness on the impact of trauma and work on key areas such as self-esteem, self-worth, negative thoughts, negative coping behaviours and boundaries.
I can support those in various life transitions such as perimenopause, menopause and late ADHD diagnosis.
I work pluralistically which allows me to use a wide range of approaches and tools to support your needs. Approaches include person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT, inner child work and hypnotherapy.
I work with over 18's only.
Weekly or fortnightly sessions are available on a flexible basis.
I will soon be offering the Rewind Trauma Technique to clients which is an effective way to process stuck traumatic memories and reduce the symptoms of PTSD.
Get in touch for a free 10 minute introductory call to help you decide if I am the counsellor for you; please contact to discuss availability.
