About us

Thank you for visiting my page.

I understand it can feel quite overwhelming and sometimes scary to choose a therapist. I hope the information here helps, but if you have any other questions I offer a FREE no obligation phone call, alternatively If you would like to send me a message, I will do my best to answer any questions that you may have.

I am fully insured and a registered member of the BACP (British Association Of Counselling and Psychotherapy)

I am based in Kirkham, Preston, however I see clients in Blackpool, St. Annes, Poulton-Le-fylde and Kirkham, which means that I can see clients across a large area.

I offer appointments Monday-Saturday and also work two evenings on a Tuesday and Thursday.

I offer a tailor-made therapy approach to each client, drawing from various types of therapy tools and techniques that best suit your needs and therapy goals.

I may offer  'walk and talk'/ out in public sessions to adult clients, if appropriate for your therapy needs. This option can be useful when working with certain phobias.

I see children, young people and adults on a one to one basis.

There is no issue too big or small for therapy. If something in your life is affecting you, I'm here to help support you through it.

Therapy sessions can help you by exploring your thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgemental space. I can offer tools and techniques if required too, which can help you move forward by understanding yourself more and discover, focus and work on your goals for the future.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
