About me

About Therapy

I understand that seeking therapy is a courageous step towards healing. As a psychologist and therapist, I am equipped with a non-judgmental and empathetic style, I will take the time to understand each client’s story and tailor an individualised plan that reflects your goals, values, and preferences. Whether working through personal challenges, navigating difficult life events, or developing better coping mechanisms, I would like my clients to find a trusted partner in their journey.

Professional Profile

I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist accredited with the British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapies (BABCP). I have an extensive experience working with individuals across diverse backgrounds to address common mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioural health.

I have gained extensive experience across a variety of clinical settings, including primary and tertiary care services, hospitals, and community mental health centres. Driven by a passion for promoting holistic well-being and bridging the gap between physical and mental health, I have increasingly focused on integrated care. In my previous role, I specialised in supporting individuals with long-term conditions within NHS Talking Therapies, and more recently, I have been working with persistent/ chronic pain patients within a national specialist service.

Approach to Therapy

I have a warm, compassionate therapeutic style. By focusing on holistic well-being, I aim to support my clients make meaningful progress towards their goals. I am passionate about tailoring therapy to meet your individual needs and work in a collaborative way to enable you to make meaningful changes in your life. In each session, you would be provided a safe, confidential space to explore personal struggles and develop coping strategies. My therapeutic approach focuses on building self-awareness, improving coping mechanisms, and fostering resilience to support you in reaching your fullest potential.

I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, and alongside Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I have received further training in Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
