About me
Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I am a fully qualified Counsellor that has developed an Integrative way of working. This means that instead of having a one set theory i draw on a number of theoretical models in order to meet your needs.
I believe that life can indeed be tough at times, and that we all need someone to talk too and help support us to deal with life’s difficulties.
I can provide an environment that is relaxed, friendly and safe to help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours without any fear of judgement.
I can help deepen your awareness of self and help you to gain perspective of what you are going through. I believe that Self awareness is key to understanding yourself and situations.
I have worked for The local Mind charity for 6 years dealing with a range of low to severe Mental Health conditions. I also have 10 years experience within the counselling field and have extensive knowledge of working with a range of different issues such as depression, post traumatic stress disorder, relationship issues, attachment issues, obsessive compulsive disorder, self esteem issues, self harm, abuse, divorce, confidence issues, bereavement and many other issues.
When something is bothering us in our lives it usually means something needs attention, so together we can give it the time and the result will mean growth as an individual.
