About me
I am a qualified person centred counsellor offering a calm and confidential space for adults to explore what is going on for them. People often come to counselling when life feels overwhelming, when emotions feel hard to manage, or when something no longer feels quite right, even if it is difficult to put into words.
My work is grounded in a person centred approach, meaning our sessions are led by you and guided by what feels most important. While my foundation is person centred, I work integratively so that our sessions can respond to your needs as they change. This keeps the work flexible and focused on what feels most supportive for you, rather than following a fixed approach.
I aim to offer a non judgemental and compassionate space where you can talk openly and at your own pace. Therapy is not about fixing or pushing for change, but about creating space to understand yourself more fully and gently explore what you need.
I offer counselling online and in person depending on availability. Sessions last 50 minutes and are confidential.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified person centred counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, working in line with the BACP Ethical Framework. I attend regular clinical supervision and engage in ongoing professional development to support safe, reflective, and ethical practice.
My experience includes supporting adults who have experienced trauma, including experiences of sexual violence, alongside anxiety, low mood, stress, self esteem difficulties, and the impact of past experiences on present day life. I work carefully and at a pace that prioritises safety, choice, and trust, recognising that everyone’s experience is different.
I have worked in a range of therapeutic settings, supporting people through periods of emotional difficulty, uncertainty, and change. My integrative way of working allows me to adapt how we work together, while remaining grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
You don't need to have a clear reason for coming to counselling. Some people come with a specific experience they want to explore, while others arrive with a sense that something has shifted or no longer feels sustainable. Both are welcome.
Sessions offer space to slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of your experiences in a way that feels manageable. We regularly check in about how the work feels for you and adjust the pace and focus as needed.
If you are unsure whether counselling is right for you, or would like to ask questions before booking, you are welcome to get in touch.
