Natasha Benjamin Dip Couns. Integrative Counsellor MBACP
Anxious or feeling Sad ? Hi I am here to listen , offering a confidential space and a friendly smile.
DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A CHANGE ? TO FEEL BETTER?
At times life can get hard, you can have life events or experiences which have left you feeling Angry, Sad or Anxious and not knowing what direction you want your life to go in. You may want a better understanding of why you feel how you do.
TIRED OF FEELING STRESSED AND ANXIOUS OR SAD ?
HOW CAN I HELP ?
I can help you with your Anxiety, Depression, Work Related stress, Abuse, Family issues, Self Esteem/ Body Image Issues. Bereavement and with Disability issues and self harm.
I am a friendly individual who understands how hard the first step is, I do not hide behind my counselling mask and offer a transparent service.
I have a special interest in breaking the cultural barrier to counselling which I have discovered and experienced. My mixed heritage can only be an advantage in this area.
I can also offer Counselling in the home , this can be for Mother's in their home with Post Natal depression or Anxiety and also those with Disabilities.
I also offer Talking and Walking Therapy for those who want to Incorporate their Physical with their Emotional needs.
I feel it is Important that people are able to access therapy even if they can not get to the Therapy room or find the Therapy room intimidating .
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Before we get started in therapy I offer a FREE 30 Minute Telephone initial consultation , to get a brief outline of your Issue to establish if you feel Therapy is right for you.
To explain the process to you.
We can then arrange to meet for a Session if you decide.
You are under no obligation to continue in therapy after this, if you may feel this may not be the right time for you.
However this gives you a opportunity to meet and discuss your issue and to find out more about how I work and if you would like to engage and feel ready to commit to therapy sessions.
Also If it feels right for you or that we can work together.
This is your opportunity to ask as many questions as you like.
You are welcome to call or email to arrange this.
My background is in Family support work , along with working in Private Practice and seeing diverse clients. I have and continue to work with women who have experienced Domestic abuse within a Domestic Abuse charity. This means I have vast experience of dealing with Complex and diverse Issues. I feel because of this background and my own diverse life experiences, this adds to my empathetic nature.
I feel passionately about every individual being able to find their voice , to not be ashamed of their feelings and to feel listened to.
How do I work.?
Because of my Integrative training every client is treated as an individual and the therapy will be different for each.
I offer a space for my clients to explore their issues, in a non judgemental, confidential, empathetic space.
I offer a transparent service and feel that every client, is the master of their own therapy.
I help to facilitate the process so my client's have a greater understanding of self and behaviours along with their emotional triggers, so they can find a way to move forward to a more authentic life.
