About me

With 13 years of experience supporting young people (11-17) and young adults  (18-24), I am dedicated to helping them navigate the unique challenges they face in today’s world. From facing life’s transitions, academic pressures and social expectations to the impact of social media, uncertainty about the future, and mental health concerns, young people are under more strain than ever before.

I provide a confidential, safe space where young people can explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns without fear of judgment. Perhaps you or your child are struggling to cope with stress, anxiety, or depression. Maybe you're looking to build or maintain stronger relationships, or perhaps to develop greater confidence and self-esteem.

I understand that life can be challenging, and sometimes it’s easier to talk to someone outside of family and friends. Taking the first step toward change can feel daunting, but if you or your loved one are reading this, it shows you’re already open to seeking support—a vital and often courageous first step.

In addition to my private practice, I work as a School Counsellor and Student Support Manager, supporting 11-18-year-olds. I specialise in creating tailored support plans to meet the individual needs of young people. Each year, I work with over 300 students through one-to-one sessions and group workshops. Some of the workshops I deliver include topics such as self-esteem, anxiety, attendance, anger management, family change, relational aggression and choices/consequences, to name just a few.

The space I provide is designed to be safe, non-judgmental, and supportive, allowing young people to express themselves freely and work toward positive change at their own pace.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
