About me
I am a fully qualified Counsellor/Therapist, and I believe real change begins from the inside. Often the ways we cope, what we eat, what we drink, or how we act out are strategies we have developed to manage difficult feelings. These patterns come from past experiences or from whats happening in the here and now. My work is to help you understand these patterns, so that you can find clarity, balance and greater ease in your life.
In our work together, my aim is the help you make sense of these patterns and feelings in a, safe, non-judgemental space, so you can feel more grounded, understood and in control of your choices, even small shifts can bring a surprising sense of relief and clarity.
I am diploma level trained, to support people with a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, bereavement, abuse, perinatal adaptation, family issues and couple work.
I offer integrative therapy, with a special focus on person-centred theory. This approach is based on the belief that every individual has the capacity to change, understand themselves and find clarity when they are in a safe, confidential and non judgemental environment. When we are truly listened to and supported, personal growth naturally follows.
Alongside individual therapy, I also offer couples counselling. Relationships can be one of the most rewarding yet challenging parts of our lives. Whether you are experiencing communication difficulties, conflict, trust issues, life transitions or simply feeling disconnected, I provide a safe and impartial space where both partners can feel heard, understood and supported in working towards positive change.
Each client brings their own unique energy into the room, and i adapt my approach to suit their individual needs. I enjoy this as it allows our work together to be truly personal and responsive.
To help you decide if i'm the right fit for you, I offer a free 15 minute call where you can ask questions and get a sense of how we might work together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
