About me
I am a fully qualified Counsellor/Therapist
I believe everything going on outside of us starts from the inside. Often all coping behaviors such as, what we eat, what we drink, and how we often act out are coping strategies developed to help us cope or numb more difficult feelings. Either from past experiences or what is going on in the here and now.
I work with you, alongside you to help you explore, understand and accept what is going on from the core. I believe that a holistic approach to healing will have a profound effect on your mental and physical well being.
I am diploma level trained, dealing with anything from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, bereavement, perinatal health, domestic violence, sexual abuse, peri natal adaption and many more
I offer integrative therapy, specialising in Person Centred Theory. This theory suggests all individuals have the potential to understand themselves in a safe, confidential, and nonjudgemental environment, when listened to and supported it is our human nature to grow.
Each client brings unique energy into the room, therefore each client is different, i adapt my approach accordingly.
I offer a free 15 minute consultation giving us the chance to see if I can help you and if you want to work with me. I know from personal experience that taking the 1st steps to get help and change can be hard so I think it's important before we start sessions we make sure I am the right counsellor / therapist for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
