Nadine Lane MBACP
Sometimes life becomes difficult and it can be helpful to have the support of someone other than family or friends to listen. Sometimes our problems become so overwhelming that we lose sight of where we are and what we need to get back on track. Sometimes we just can’t understand why we feel the way we do.
I believe that every one of us has the resources and abilities within ourselves to reach our full potential and by discovering and understanding our strengths, things can become a lot clearer to us.
As a qualified counsellor, with years of life experience behind me, I can offer you a place where you can express yourself freely and deeply without fear of being judged, and where we can work together to make the changes that will help you move forward.
From my experience in a GP surgery with people of all ages, differing ethnicity, cultures and sexual orientation, clients have come with issues such as: depression, anxiety, self esteem, lack of confidence, relationship difficulties with friends, family or at work, loss and bereavement, alcohol dependence or those who just want to offload and feel some support.
Our first meeting is an opportunity for you to meet me, to share your concerns, expectations, hopes and fears and of course to ask any questions. It allows you to make a decision about whether or not you wish to return for ongoing counselling and allows me to find out about what you are bringing to counselling to ensure that I am well placed to support you.
We can work short term or longer term, whichever you feel is more helpful and the sessions are 50 minutes.
i also offer online counselling by email or instant messenger and the details are on my website www.nadinelanecounselling.co.uk
