About me

Hi i'm Nadhia, a qualified and MBACP registered Counsellor and psychotherapist. If you're navigating the overwhelming weight of anxiety, grief, depression, or relationship issues, seeking a deeper understanding of yourself or identity, you deserve a space where you can feel seen, heard, and truly understood. I recognise how l heavy and how challenging these feelings can be, and I'm here to offer a compassionate, safe environment for you.

My aim is to provide a compassionate and secure environment where you can explore deeper issues such as bereavement, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I’m also deeply committed to helping clients understand their self-concept, how they see themselves, and how life experiences have shaped their relationships and sense of identity.

If you’re ready to take a step towards a journey in therapy, I invite you to reach out. Let’s work together to find healing, growth, and the path that’s right for you. You deserve a life filled with purpose and joy.

My practice focuses on supporting women in individual therapy, alongside couples and family work. I do not currently offer one-to-one counselling for adult men.

This allows me to work in a way that feels safe, aligned, and clinically appropriate for the work I offer

I work within a clearly defined scope of practice and reserve the right to assess clinical suitability following an initial enquiry.

Training, qualifications & experience

As a qualified and MBACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist with a passion for supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. I work integratively, blending a humanistic, person-centred approach with concepts from Transactional Analysis to create a safe, nurturing, and explorative space. Together, we can delve into the deeper aspects of identity, understanding how cross-cultural and cross-religious experiences shape who you are. My goal is to help you find clarity and empowerment as you navigate your journey.

During my training, I worked with a charity that counselled and supported individuals through their bereavement of child loss, abortion, adoption, infant loss, infertility and IVF journey. I have also done some additional work with a Domestic abuse charity as a counsellor.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
