Mignon Springett, MA, Registered MBACP, MBPS, CBT
I offer affordable counselling, Coaching and Consultancy for adults, children/youths and couples. I have several years of counselling experience working with clients from all ages, cultures and backgrounds who may be struggling to cope in some way. I work as an Integrative Counsellor / psychotherapist and offer short term or long term face to face counselling to both Adults and Children over the age of 12 and to Couples. I offer a generous discount for young people and I am flexible in working around school or college hours. I am now offering home counselling for couples with young family commitments (please enquire for details).
My consulting rooms are based at clinics in Haywards Heath and Horsham and are easily accessible from surrounding areas including Burgess Hill.
My approach is very friendly and I have effectively managed to form strong working relationships with all my clients whilst giving them the space to explore their feelings in a confidential and non-judgemental setting. Some of the issues in counselling I specialise in are: Stress Management & Coaching, Anxiety (incl. Paranoia), Depression, Trauma, Abuse & Sexual Abuse, Thoughts of Suicide, Low Confidence, Relationship Issues, Anger Management, Anxiety and Bullying and Additions. I believe that each issue a person has is very much to their own and sometimes being able to talk to someone in confidence can help to encourage emotional growth and furthermore make changes to their life situation.

Previous experience working with children & Families: primary school teacher, working for a charity helping young people and adults with learning difficulties both physical and sensory disabilities. Before that I worked for a homeless charity and the Samaritans offering counselling to both.
I also hold a diploma in creative arts incorporating voice and drama techniques and play therapy.
