About me
Integrative Counselling Online & in Northampton
Choosing to begin counselling can feel like a significant step. Many people start looking for counselling when something in life feels overwhelming, confusing, or simply in need of attention. My aim as an integrative counsellor is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what’s going on for you, entirely at your own pace.
A Safe, Supportive Space to Be Heard
I offer a warm, collaborative, and reflective counselling environment where you can speak freely and be met with empathy, care, and without judgement. People come to counselling for many reasons; including anxiety, depression, difficult relationships, low self-esteem, trauma, or a sense of feeling stuck. Whatever you’re experiencing, you are welcome to bring what feels important to you. This is your space to feel heard, understood, and supported.
How I Work: An Integrative Approach
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor counselling to you and your individual needs. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I work flexibly, bringing together what feels most helpful for you and your hopes for therapy.
I offer integrative counselling that adapts to the way you experience the world, supporting you with both present-day challenges and deeper emotional patterns.
Therapeutic Approaches I Use
My core training is in three evidence-based counselling modalities:
Person-Centred Therapy
Offering empathy, acceptance, and authenticity, helping you reconnect with your own inner resources and sense of self.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Exploring how past experiences and early relationships may be influencing your thoughts, feelings, and relationships today.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Supporting you to recognise and gently change unhelpful patterns in thinking and behaviour, particularly helpful for anxiety and depression.
This integrative approach allows counselling to be responsive, thoughtful, and shaped around you.
Working Relationally in Counselling
My approach is relational, meaning I place great importance on the therapeutic relationship we build together. I aim to understand not only the difficulties you’re facing, but also the emotional, relational, and personal context around them. By working together in an open, respectful, and attuned way, counselling can become a space for insight, healing, and meaningful change.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
