About me
I am a warm, down to earth counsellor, and I work in a way that feels supportive and calm. You might find yourself feeling anxious, disconnected, or weighed down by things you’ve been carrying for a long time. Counselling offers a space to pause, breathe, and begin making sense of what’s been happening for you.
I support people navigating things such as anxiety, low self esteem, family conflict, grief, loss, and addiction. These experiences can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you’re carrying too much on your own. Together, we slow things down so you can understand what’s happening for you and begin to feel more grounded and connected to yourself.
How I work
No two people experience life in the same way, so I don’t believe in a one‑size‑fits‑all approach. As an integrative counsellor, I can draw from a range of therapeutic methods and shape them to suit your pace, your personality and what you need right now. I offer a calm, non‑judgemental space where you can talk openly and honestly.
In our work together:
- We move at a pace that feels right for you, without rushing or pushing.
- We explore what’s going on beneath the surface, gently and collaboratively.
- We make sense of patterns and emotions together, finding clarity where things feel tangled.
- We focus on what you need right now, whether that’s making sense of the past, coping with the present, or moving between the two, at your pace.
- Together we build confidence, boundaries and emotional resilience, in a way that feels safe and manageable.
- We work in a way that supports you to feel less overwhelmed and more grounded.
My journey into counselling
My own lived experiences, including navigating periods of severe anxiety and significant losses in my life, shaped my passion for this work and led me to become a counsellor. I understand how important it is to find the right person: someone who feels warm, understanding and genuinely alongside you as you move through your own journey. That’s the kind of space I aim to offer every client.
Who do I work with
I work with adults of all ages, offering short-term or longer-term counselling, shaped around your needs.
