About me
I offer support and guidance to people during times of depression, anxiety, low self esteem, bereavement & loss, chronic illness and relationship issues. I work in person, online and by telephone. I have been working as a therapist for 16 years and have a gentle calming approach to the way I work.
Sometimes life can feel ‘just too much’, you may feel like you have reached your capacity, are emotionally sensitive or feel numb. You may lack clarity in your thoughts, feel isolated and do not know where to turn. Take a deep breath and know that help is at hand. I offer guidance and support in a safe, non-judgemental space, to explore the things on your mind, working with you, at your pace. I will hear your words and see you as a unique individual. I believe in your ability to heal and grow.
At the heart of how I work, is the relationship we build together. Over the past years of working in therapeutic private practice and for various Charities, I have seen how positive outcome in therapy comes from forming a strong professional relationship with clients. Mutual trust and respect in our therapeutic relationship is the safe foundation that will allow us to go where you need to go. Change is possible. As an integrative practitioner I draw on many therapeutic styles and techniques to find ways of working that are right for you.
Our first full session will be a space for us to get to know one another and for you to get a sense of me and how I work, and if you feel comfortable with me. We will explore what brings you to therapy, and what changes you hope to see and discuss whether my expertise is the right fit for you. What is most important, is that you feel comfortable and safe speaking to me, and that I feel like the right fit for you.
To facilitate your search I offer a free initial 30 minute online consultation to determine whether I am the right therapist for you. There is no obligation and these and all ongoing sessions are strictly confidential and adhere to the ethical guidelines of the BACP. The first full session will be fifty minutes and I charge my regular fee of £70.00 per session.
All enquiries are treated in confidence. I aim to reply to messages within 24 hours (Mon - Fri). If you would prefer me to call you, please leave your name number and a suitable time to return your call.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
I hope to hear from you soon.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
