About me
Hello & welcome to MindMove Counselling & Supervision.
I am a qualified & experienced counsellor & BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) Registered & Accredited.
I work with individuals & couples.
I am also a qualified Clinical Supervisor, using the Seven Eyed Model of Supervision. I can support you in your work.
As a counsellor, I fully appreciate that asking for support may not feel easy.
Whether this is your first experience of counselling or you are building on previous work, our sessions together can provide you with a space of confidential support. Being able to speak to a professional, free from judgement, can provide you with a freedom you may not have in other relationships.
I am here to provide time and space - for you to be heard. If appropriate we can explore new and healthier coping strategies and help you find a set of new tools for your kit.
There is no age limit in our work together. I work with ages 18 years upwards. I can support you face to face, by telephone or video.
I work relationally, integrating a variety of counselling theories into my work and practice and use these approaches as I feel appropriate. This means the work we do together is tailored and personalised to you, focusing on your needs.
I provide a space for those who have had a cancer or terminal illness diagnosis. I work with individuals experiencing bereavement, anxiety, stress & depression, family issues, infidelity, low self esteem, low confidence, issues at work, peri/post menopause, ME & Fibromyalgia.
I support those who have experienced a miscarriage, or stillbirth, are pre or post IVF & those experiencing post natal depression.
Of course there can be many other reasons for making contact and no issues is too small, if it is affecting you.
Please contact me so that we can arrange a free 15 minute telephone consultation, where you can ask any questions you may have. At this point, I can learn more about the support you require. I can be contacted by phone, email or text to arrange this.
My fee is competitive and can be discussed at point of contact.
My therapy spaces are located in Oulton (LS26) & in Chapel Allerton (LS7), but you may wish to have a telephone or video sessions instead. Working online may provide you with more flexibility around other commitments.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
