About me

Life can feel extremely hard, at any age, when you are experiencing difficulties or when you are trying to make sense of things, past & present.

Whatever you are struggling with, may be holding you back in a variety of ways. By exploring the way you are feeling and what you are thinking, in a safe professional space, can help you 'move forward'.

Together, we can discover underlying problems behind the difficulties you are experiencing.

I run MindMove Counselling in Leeds and I am here to help you with that 'move'. Please take a look at my website www.mindmovecounselling.co.uk

You may be feeling anxious, depressed, have a phobia, be working your way through relationships issues or may have other reasons for thinking about therapy.

I am a Registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and work with adult men & women & with young people (11-18 years), on wide ranging issues.

My therapy rooms are in Chapel Allerton (LS7) & Oulton, near Rothwell (LS26) & Colton (Leeds 15).

You may prefer, for a variety of reasons, to have telephone, Face-Time, Whatsapp or Skype sessions. We can speak about this when you call or email.

For many reasons it can be difficult to speak with family, friends or others you might normally talk to or confide in. People you know may offer advice or pass judgment; I won't judge anything you bring to counselling.

The counselling service at MindMove is completely confidential & non-judgemental, regardless of what you bring to your sessions. Being able to talk with someone who doesn't know you, who won't judge you and won't tell you what to do, provides you with a freedom you are unlikely to have with anyone else. In our sessions together, I support you, I listen to you and we work together to help you move forward.

You can take your time, going at your own pace. While you take your time to 'unravel' some of the things you are struggling with, I will be alongside you, helping you explore some of the emotions you are feeling. I will provide time and space for you, in counselling, when you need to be listened to.

Please make contact if you have any questions, or would like to arrange a free telephone consultation.
