About me

Hi, my name is Melissa or Milly if you prefer. I’m here to help you make real lasting change. Life and relationships can feel messy, overwhelming, or stagnated. Whether you’re struggling with your partner, feeling weighed down by low self-esteem, clashing within your family, or caught in unhelpful patterns, I’m here to help you find a way forward.

I specialise in:

Couples counselling – rebuilding trust, deepening connections, and improving communication.
Challenging negative behaviours – break free from patterns that hold you back.
Low self-esteem – rediscover your confidence and self-worth.
Family counselling – strengthen understanding and harmony at home.
As an integrative counsellor, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I combine different counselling modalities to match your unique needs, giving us the flexibility to explore in a way that truly works for you. I am also a neurodivergent counsellor, I understand the need for a different way of thinking. You’ll find my sessions to be a safe, non-judgemental space where you can be completely yourself. I’ll listen without criticism, support you without pressure, and help you uncover the changes you want to make — at your pace, in your way.

If you’re ready to take the first step towards a healthier, happier you, let’s talk.

Training, qualifications & experience

I started my journey on my level 2 counselling skills and worked towards integrative counselling, which utilises tools from different therapies to create a tailored counselling experience for each individual. I have also pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Education to teach future counsellors and also how to better share psychoeducational information.
