About me
Are you feeling stuck in a cycle of worry, low mood, or self-doubt? Perhaps life feels increasingly overwhelming, or you've noticed that the ways you used to cope simply aren't working anymore.
I am a CBT Therapist and Psychology graduate based in High Wycombe, specialising in helping adults and children navigate anxiety, depression, and the pressures of modern life. My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Together, we will look at the 'here and now', identifying the patterns of thinking and behaviour that are keeping you stuck, and building a toolkit of strategies that you can use long after our sessions have ended.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where we can work at your pace. Whether you are looking to manage specific symptoms or simply want to understand yourself better, my goal is to help you feel more in control and resilient.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Counselling and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatment (CBT) from Reading University.
My clinical foundation was built over seven years within the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), giving me extensive experience supporting children, young people, and adults facing complex emotional, relational, and behavioural challenges.
Core Clinical Expertise
- Anxiety Disorders: Generalised Anxiety (GAD), Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, OCD, and Phobias.
- Depression & Low Mood: Utilising Behavioural Activation and Cognitive Restructuring.
- Stress Management: Tailored support for professionals, students, and parents.
- Relational & Interpersonal Support: Exploring how cognitive patterns influence our relationships and connections.
Specialist Areas of Interest
- Neuro-Affirming Practice: I am deeply passionate about providing an inclusive, validating therapeutic space for neurodivergent individuals (including ADHD and Autism). My approach adapts to individual sensory and processing needs, focusing on empowerment and self-advocacy rather than 'fixing.
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD): Trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard CBT approach for breaking the cycle of intrusive thoughts and compulsions.
- Trauma-Informed CBT: Working safely with individuals to process difficult experiences, manage trauma triggers, and soothe nervous system responses.
Child & Adolescent Mental Health: Drawing directly on my CAMHS background to offer age-appropriate, engaging CBT interventions that foster lifelong resilience.
I am a Fully Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). To ensure the highest ethical and professional standards, all of my clinical practice is governed by the BABCP guidelines and supported by regular accredited clinical supervision.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a daunting step. Because the relationship between therapist and client is so important, I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute introductory call. This gives us a chance to talk briefly about what you’re looking for and see if we’re a good fit.
I see clients online via a secure video platform, providing you with the flexibility to access therapy from the comfort of your own home in High Wycombe or beyond. I also have limited evening availability to accommodate those with busy work schedules.
