About me
Life can be painful, confusing, chaotic, dark, swinging from highs to lows, lonely, ridiculous, sad and frightening.
I provide a calm, safe, confidential space to see you, hear you and walk with you, at your pace, in exploring yourself and find your way forward – to help you to find your true self. To be angry, to laugh, to cry and to challenge your perceptions of life – both your own and others. Through this, I believe that we all have the ability to move towards our authentic self.
I can walk with you, helping you to seek the courage to learn greater self-awareness; to access your personal power and to love yourself more – just as you are. I understand how difficult that can be and the courage needed to trust that you will not be judged or shamed. Ultimately my hope is that you can begin to discard the mask that you wear in presenting yourself to the world with increased confidence.
I work with adults with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depressed feelings, low self-esteem and spiritual growth, with my specialist areas being drug and alcohol addictions and bereavement.
I put you and whatever you want to bring to each session, at the heart of the therapeutic process. We are all unique and I work in an authentic way to encourage you to also have the confidence to be authentic. Together we can give your feelings and concerns the respect and space that they deserve, to work through them and to see what they may be telling you.
I embrace and celebrate diversity in all its forms and enjoy working with all cultural and ethnic belief systems.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
