About me

Everyone’s version of ‘normal’ differs; sometimes you may need a safe space to examine and sort through unexpected challenges or things that may be holding you back from living a more fulfilled life. I provide a compassionate, supportive space for your therapeutic journey where you can gain a better understanding of yourself, relationships and other things that matter to you.

As an Integrative practitioner, I draw from a range of therapeutic tools which can be tailored to suit you. I put you, the individual in control of the pace and scope of our work together. For the past four years, I have worked sensitively with adults and teens in a range of services in south London and online from all walks of life with issues including anxiety, depression, relationships and generational trauma.

With over 20 years experience with Customer Care in Financial Services, I have worked with issues such as financial abuse and gambling addictions.

Having experience of Women's gynaecological health issues for decades, I have an informed perspective of physical health issues impacting all aspects of life such as work and relationships, and mental health.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
