About me

I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental therapeutic space, drawing on my training in CBT and EMDR to support you in exploring the challenges you’re experiencing, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Perhaps you find yourself constantly worrying, imagining the worst-case scenario or overthinking what others think of you. You might struggle to switch off, feel overwhelmed by your thoughts or find it difficult to be present. Perhaps you're experiencing flashbacks, nightmares or feeling constantly on edge following a difficult experience.

I have supported many people across the UK experiencing a range of common mental health difficulties, including low mood, excessive worry, stress and social anxiety. I have a particular interest in anxiety and PTSD and have undertaken additional training in EMDR and the Flash Technique. I can draw on these approaches to help you process difficult experiences, manage distressing symptoms and work towards meaningful change.

Have you had therapy before but feel that it didn’t lead to the change you were hoping for? I can help you understand what may be keeping you stuck, while working collaboratively with you to develop new ways of responding, coping and moving forward.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an accredited CBT Therapist and EMDR Therapist with over 8 years of clinical experience working with adults in both the NHS and private sector.

I offer both CBT and EMDR, using either approach individually or combining them where appropriate. Your treatment will be tailored to your needs, helping you understand your difficulties, process past experiences and develop effective strategies to support lasting change.

I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals experiencing PTSD, excessive worry, low self-esteem and stress. Together, we will explore your experiences and develop a deeper understanding of what you are going through, while building effective coping strategies to manage emotional distress, strengthen confidence and improve your everyday life.

Qualifications:

  • BSc (Hons) Psychology
  • PGDip CBT
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
