I do understand the decision and search for a counsellor can be a daunting prospect, and can leave you feeling very anxious. Going through the unknown can be a scary place to be in, my priority is that you feel comfortable and safe, So I will offer you a Confidential and empathic Environment, so you will feel safe to explore your Emotions and feelings.
I am an accredited integrative counsellor, I worked in a voluntary capacity for a respected local organisation for 2 years as a person-centred therapist, gaining experience of counselling adults, covering a wide range of issues.
I was trained as an integrative counsellor; this enables me to take elements from specific therapies, so I’m able to tailor your sessions to suit you as a unique individual, thus making you feel at ease and in good hands.
I believe for counselling to be effective, we need a good foundational relationship between client and therapist. I will provide a safe, confidential and judgment free space to achieve a good working relationship, thus making you feel comfortable and safe, so that I can support you on your journey.
I offer short or long term counselling and have appointments to suit you, options of daytime, evenings or weekends. Please do not hesitate to contact me to ask any questions or to arrange an appointment.
I am located in long Eaton, Which is around a 10 minute car journey from junction 24 & 25, there is street parking available, less than 5 minutes walk from the long Eaton train station. There is also regular bus routes throughout the day.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
