NOW OFFERING COUPLES COUNSELLING!
CBT FOR NIGHT TIME EATING SYNDROME (NES)
Counselling offers you space to be together, to talk together, to heal together ....
I am a Qualified, Experienced and Professional therapist with more than 4000 hours of client practice. I have personal and professional experience of working with clients and I work with a broad range of issues.
It's always important to pay attention to our Mental Health. Summer is departing and the Autumn season is soon upon us - may be time to reconsider what changes need to be happening in your life to make you feel happier, healthier and in control of your life.
Talking therapy (counselling, CBT and so many other approaches) really can help!
As an Integrative and CBT Therapist I have helpled hundreds of clients with a whole range of emotional and psychological difficulties: Post Traumatic Stress, Relationship Problems, Infidelity, Low Self Esteem, Anger, Bereavement, Anxiety, Depression, Panic Attacks, Self Harm, Rape, Sexual Assault, Childhood Sexual Abuse, Identity Problems, Trauma and Stress, Dissociation, Attachment Problems, Suicidal Thoughts or Intent, Loss, Bereavement, Low Mood, Bipolar and lately I am turning my professional skills and personal experience to helping people with combating Night Time Eating Syndrome or NES - using a combination of CBT and hypnotherapy - and YES it really does work!!
In my practice I work with young people, adults and older people who present with a vast range of emotional and psychological problems. The therapy relationship is key to successful outcomes for clients and I am very skilled when it comes to creating and developing excellent therapeutic relationships with my clients. In order for you to feel safe and trusting with me our working relationship has to work. That way, your therapy process can lead to positive, healthy and lasting change.
Your mental health and your wellbeing matters to me enormously. Your healing process towards a more positive and healthy 'you' is essential and I can help this to happen.
Life, situations and relationships can present difficulties and challenges to us all and it can seem impossible to resolve even the smallest of issues. Talking with a skilled and experienced counsellor can help you to feel heard, achieve clarity and understanding. It can provide you with guidance and direction and help you to get to where you want to be in life.
My counselling service offers the appropriate space for you to talk, feel listened to and explore your problems with safety and a non-judgemental, warm and genuinely caring climate. When you start to feel better I can help you to sustain your personal improvement and growth. I will accept you totally as a human being and as a client because I am genuinely committed and motivated to helping you within my capacity as a counsellor, CBT professional and mental health worker.
My counselling service extends to Ellesmere Port, Chester, Wirral, Merseyside, Wales, Cheshire and other North West areas. I provide counselling from my own dedicated space at my home in Ellesmere Port or I can do home visits depending on your circumstances.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT is a scientifically tested therapy approach which focuses on creating postitive change in the here and now. It can help to create lasting alternative ways to think, feel and behave. I feel passionate about this particular therapy approach and I can work with specific issues such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, OCD, agoraphobia, social anxiety, and many, many more issues.
My style of therapy is always tailored to suit each individual client. Please see my expertise and specialisms above.
Additionally, I am a Counselling Supervisor and Counsellor for qualified and unqualified/trainee counsellors. Supervision is an essential element of safe and ethical therapeutic practice and it is a requirement of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
When you find the courage to heal yourself, you will be on the right track towards a new and healthy 'you', so why not take that journey with me TODAY!
