About me
Do you sometimes feel like life is harder than it should be? Maybe you’re feeling emotionally drained, stuck in old patterns, or facing a challenge that’s difficult to navigate alone. Whatever you're going through, you deserve support.
Counselling offers a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. It is a chance to gain clarity, understand yourself better, and make changes that feel right for you. Whether you want to process a specific event, improve your relationships, or simply feel more in control of your life, therapy can help you move forward with confidence.
In our sessions, we’ll focus on what matters most to you. Together, we’ll explore your strengths, uncover what’s holding you back, and find ways to create the changes you want. I’ll support you with honesty, care, and respect—challenging you when needed and adjusting our approach to ensure it feels helpful for you.
Starting therapy is a big step, and finding the right fit is important. If you're curious about how counselling could support you, reach out for a chat. If it feels right, we’ll arrange an initial session to explore what you need and how we can work together to help you feel more empowered in your life.
You don’t have to do this alone—support is here when you’re ready.
Training, qualifications & experience
I work part-time as a counsellor at Resources for Autism.
I have a BA (Hons) in Counselling, and am a registered member with the BACP.
I have been facilitating face to face sharing groups for a year. These therapeutic groups allow autistic individuals to create connections and a sense of belonging through sharing their own experiences, and hearing that of others.
I have a particular interest in the questions and challenges faced by women diagnosed in later age as this is part of my own life story.
I am very focused on continuing my development and regularly attend workshops and seminars on topics brought to me by my clients. This year, I want to learn more about women's hormonal health.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Taking the first step of asking for help from a counsellor can be daunting, but please be assured that I will make the process of finding the right counsellor for yourself as easy as possible for you, by answering any questions you may have in a short phone conversation, or in an email.
The next step would be to set up a 50 minutes exploratory session, charged at the current rate, which will provide an opportunity to meet face to face or online, and discuss what is going on for you and how counselling might help you, with no obligation.
I am close to public transport (halfway between Bounds Green and Arnos Grove tube stations), with on-street parking.
