I am an experienced counsellor and registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I am also a qualified coach and NLP practitioner. I provide a safe confidential space to support you in exploring aspects of your inner or outer life that may be interfering with your ability to enjoy or progress in life. Sometimes we are clear about the causes that are interfering with our lives and other times we have no idea, just a deep sense of something that stirs within and inhibits or troubles us. Working with our stories, dreams, memories and reflections can bring what is unknown into the open with transformative effects. This is what I seek to do.
I have many years experience of dealing with individuals and organisations as a nurse, midwife, counsellor and coach. I am deeply committed to the continuous development of individuals and work relationally and psychodynamically. I have a strong interest in Jungian depth psychology and the quest of individuals to gain deeper understanding of themselves.
There may be many reasons that have steered you to seek counselling or coaching at this time. This seeking is your first step.
I meet with clients in a Central Bedford location, close to the bus station and a short walk from the train station. There is easy parking in an NCP car park very close by.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
