MBACP (accred) - Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist

About me

I believe therapy is a place to pause, to slow down, and to meet yourself with kindness. Life often reflects what’s happening inside us, through our relationships, our choices, and the feelings we carry. These reflections can reveal the different “parts” of ourselves, each with its own voice and needs.

Inside of us live many voices: some are brave, wanting change or connection; some are scared, cautious, or hurt; some pull us in opposite directions, keeping us stuck or unsure. When these parts clash, life can feel overwhelming - anxiety, fear, overthinking, or sadness can take over.

In our work together, we’ll create a safe space for all of your parts to have a seat at the “inner table.” Each part can share its story, be heard, and feel understood. You don’t need to fix anything right away, simply noticing and listening helps these parts feel seen, and begins to reduce the inner tension that keeps you stuck.

As you learn to relate to your inner voices with curiosity and care, you start seeing yourself more clearly and connecting with the world in ways that feel authentic.

Life brings change, sometimes gentle, sometimes sudden, and these shifts can stir old patterns, old wounds, and new questions. Together, we’ll explore what each part of you needs and find ways to move forward that feel aligned with your true self.

Therapy isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about having someone by your side who listens, reflects, and supports you as you discover your inner strength, wisdom, and resilience.

If you’re ready for a space where you can slow down, be heard, and start untangling what’s been holding you back, I’d be glad to hear from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained in Wellbeing Coaching with Dr. McGuire in Yorkshire and completed a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I’ve since worked with organisations including Bodhi Space Olney and PGDC London, helping clients navigate relationship difficulties, emotional challenges, and personal growth in a supportive, client-centred space.

I trained as a Group Facilitator at the Gestalt Centre in London and have been part of their self-development groups almost every year as part of my ongoing personal growth. My experience includes volunteering with Humankind London, facilitating groups for people overcoming alcohol and drug addiction, as well as working with Banbury Therapy Group and Banbury Counselling Academy as a group therapy and process group facilitator.

Alongside this, I’ve built and run my own private practice, offering both face-to-face and online therapy. I now work exclusively in private practice, seeing clients at North Bar House in Banbury, Oxfordshire, and online across the UK.

My commitment to personal and professional growth continues through regular workshops and training, as well as ongoing personal therapy and supervision. Before training as a therapist, I spent many years practicing and teaching mindfulness and yoga, which continue to influence my grounded, compassionate, and embodied approach today.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
